The Poodles make it legal: This is it!!

So after running all over the beach, feeling like a superstar couple, because we were being chased by paparazzi (aka Groomsman, and family members) We gave all of the leis away to our guest and got ready to start with the ceremony :)

That morning right before we left, Mr Poodle told me his mom wanted to talk to me, I was a little nervous but I rush her house. Since I had my  New and Blue =The dress (witch was more tourqueis than blue, but I didn't mind) she said before I should not worry for the borrow or old because she had the perfect idea.

She had this little cute box for me when I open it I saw this:

The ring belong to FMIL Grandma, it was her engagement ring. When Mr. Poodle's parents got married FMIL's mom gave her the same little box with the ring and a note on the inside, she used the exact same box and wrote me a note on the back of hers, I started crying the minute I read it... it was so sweet and I'm really happy I got to wear it on this day :) and use it again as my borrow and old for the April wedding.

We all gather together, and our friend and ordain minister Carl started the ceremony :)

I can not really remember all of his words, and I was so nervous that I forgot to let my bouquet go! I hold on to it every single second.

... and I laugh for like half of the ceremony, just because I was so nervous. But at the same time I'm really happy I we got to practice with this ceremony so that way I dont mess up our ceremony in April :)

Once we got to the vows I was a lot more calm and i got to enjoy all of Mr. poodle's words.

... it was really awesome to be there looking him on the eyes knowing that we are going to be together for good.

... But when my time came to repeat the vows, even tho I did pretty good most of the time by the end our minister got a little nervous and started to talk really fast and I GOT LOST!
I could not remember what he just said so I ask him to repeat, and since I didn't get it the second time either I just said "Everything he said..."

I felt so dumb...  but it end up being the highlight of our ceremony and FMIL's favorite moment ever LOL

So after everyone stop lauging we moved to the sand ceremony.

We listen carefully to all of the words and got ready for the best part of all!

... the minister said "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife..."

"... you might kiss the bride!"

Ohh so excited!  - because we did not exchanged rings on this ceremony (We are saving all that for April) we decided to exchange carabiners, that both of us engraved with cute messages.

So after we seal our sand jar we were ready for hugs and more pictures!

after the ceremony we all went to Fratello for some Italian food, witch was pretty awesome.

And after finding this:

... all over Mr. Poodle's truck, we headed back home :)

I was an amazing day that both of us will always remember, and even tho it was not our actual wedding it felt like a cool rehearsal day, because now we know things we don't have to do and faces we have to avoid LOL

Our legal ceremony was so much fun, it was kind of crazy to see how something that it was supposed to be so just a four people kind of thing, evolved to our beach legal ceremony :)

And just to let you know even tho we are legally married, this ceremony was just to complete our Visa Papers. The April Wedding will be the one we will celebrate as our anniversary so that's why I will be Miss Poodle until then.

About this blog

I am a Spanish speaker and I started this blog as a way to learn English, I was blogging from Chile while we waited on our Visa process so I could move to California and we could have our green and purple wedding. So a big portion of this planning happened while we were still dating long distance.
